Parts manual for oil filter shows part no.22679

Is there an equivalent that would be easily available at any auto parts store or is the Crusader OEM filter all that can be used ?

It's a Ford filter. AC Delco #42PF2CL, fits most late model V/8s before they made them real small and hid them behind the bumpers of the pick-ups."

I had also contacted Pleasurecraft Engine Group and asked the same question. They just e-mailed me and said the only substitute is a Fram PH8A. Thought you'd should know for future reference."
 
PH8A is Fram's version of

PH8A is Fram's version of the basic Ford/Chrysler filter and is readily available in equiviantent in any other brand. Pick your favorite brand and cross reference it to Fram PH8A. Probably Crusader's filters are Frams with a Crusader label.

"I use Sierra, Fram or NAPA, whichever I happen to be near when I decide to pick up filters. When someone says that only a certain filter is acceptable it usually means they have some vested interest in that make of filter."
