"I Have a newbie question , the oil drain hose in the bottom of my boat, '87 175 mercruiser,do you need a pump to get oil to drain out of this hose or do you just open the end?

"Pull it thru the transom, remove the plug and let it drain; drains best with hot oil and loosening the oil fill cap on the valve cover."
