does anyone know if A Aq125B v

does anyone know if A Aq125B volvo is supposed to have an external oil cooler on side of engine block? I have this model engine and I dont have oil cooler.

Thank you for this information. I am trying to get a water pump issue resolved. On the back side of the pump where it bolts to the block there is another hole about 3/4 inch diameter. The company that I got this pump from said it is where the oil cooler tube goes. I think they sent me the wrong pump. Is that possible?

There is no hole on the back side of the right pump. Just a shaft comes out that mates to the drive cross. The in and out holes are next to each other on the side. The right pump should have four screws thru it. Two go all the way thru to mount it and two should just help hold the cover on.

"The hole on the backside is where the shaft goes through. This hole should have a brass bushing, a shaft seal (looks like oil seal), shaft and cross piece. Inside should be an impeller secured to the shaft with a key. Outside cover has a gasket."

In doing more research the part number on the pump that they sent me goes to a volvo car engine.
