Hi folks... quick question for you all.
2000 Johnson 115hp outboard(ocean-pro?)
Im getting a lot of oil dripping out of the prop(exhaust) when running on land. Oily sludge building up throughout the exhaust port down through the leg. Motor doesnt like to idle either. This engine was recently purchased at an auction, sight unseen and sound unheard. Any ideas if this is normal or do i have an issue on hand? I know the info is vague, but i will try to answer any queries that u have for me to be able to help diagnose and repair this issue. I have zero experience with outboards, so please be patient with me! Thanks.
