Hi,
I recently changed my oil on my 2006 Mercury 9.9 4-stroke outboard motor. I drained it as it instructed and added 27 fluid ounces of oil to the motor which it calls for. Upon letting the motor rest in the down position, I checked the dipstick a few times and it is measuring a little over the full mark. Should I try to drain a little bit of oil and match the oil level right at the full mark on the dipstick or what? Please help...
