I have a 1988 120hp Johnson model # J120TLCCA that some times the oil alarm goes off but res. it is still full of oil.

"there are sev signals,that u can get,w/the system....how fast are the beeps....1-every 3 sec or so,would be NO-OIL at pump....1,every 20-30 sec or so,would be low oil...senders do go bad,..but u need them....if u choose to stay on that oiling system,have it upgraded,professionally cked....for alarms,and consumption,or,...if u can do it,..get a factory service manual,and u can do it IF,...u can wk on engines.............the oiling system/warning systems,is not something to toy w/ur eng,depends,on it,the alarms,...and..YOU"
