Off season Storage

Recently bought a boat with a 1981 Johnson 70hp, I plan on selling the motor in the spring and buying a 50-55 hp, but want to store the 70 until then, (easier to sell in the spring) Motor will be off the boat, and in carport with a blanket over it for 4-5 months, not worried about freezing temps, get very few days below zero where I live, will just running some gas with Sta-Bil thru it be sufficient, or do I really need to use a fogger or ?? Lawnmower,Chain saw, weed wackers always start fine after 4-5 months with nothing more than Sta-Bil being used, Thanks

I should add that to be on the safe side you should change the lower unit oil, just in case water got in there. Motor won't sell very well if the gear case gets a crack in it from water freezing in it. At least open up the drain plug and see if any water drips out.
