"OK, so I went to fog the engine, and decided to check compression since before getting it running (boat sat for 17 years) the compression was 100/100/80 about a year ago. Now it is 100/105/100?
We had it out 7 times this year from 7/20 to 9/13.
Burned about 25 gallons of fuel. No real trouble.
The one worry-some thing I noticed was water on the tip of the top spark plug before I checked compression. A little milky and a drop of clear water. Had not run engine for 3 weeks.
After fogging no water I could see. I couldn't stall it either with the fogging oil so I shut it down and continued on.
Can water get inside from condensation?
Is it OK for it not to stall while fogging? (It almost did, but I was running out of oil.)"
