NS90A question?

I'm new to the forum as well as new to the boating community. I plan on printing out the NS90A owners manual but I had a couple questions to run by you guys- I just bought a 89 Nissan 17ft boat with NS90A engine. It says 3B7-1 11034. Anyone have a clue what year that would be? The guy started it up and it sounded pretty good. Im use to two stroke dirtbikes so I was planning on cleaning out the carbs - new plugs- check the coils as well as compression. Whats the specific range it should be in? Check the throttle cable along with fuel lines and replace as needed. It has no seats so if anyone has used lounge seats I am in the market for a pair. I'm probably missing a bunch of things I should check before I take the chance of launching it- so any recommendations or suggestions would be great.

Too many vaiables to publish compression values.-------------The absolute best indicator of a good motor is that compression is the same or very nearly so on all cylinders.---Installing a new waterpump impeller is also very highly recommended too.
