Not sure of the Ser numbers

"Just bought older boat, running two 250 EFI Mariner's. The Ser. numbers sticker's are unreadable
Im told the numbers are stamped in the block somewhere ??
Anyone know where to find them on the block??
The numbers I can make out on the stickers looks like on the port engine to be Ser.# 0G350352 ?
Starboard engine looks like Ser.# 0G406167 ?
I have read some of the discussion here, like what I'm reading looks very helpful, I'm going to need some help with this project.

Those appear to be 1996 Mercur

Those appear to be 1996 Mercury Mariners. The serial number should also be stamped on a round plug located on top of the motor.
 
Maybe Under the alternater bel

Maybe Under the alternater belt cover??

Anyone know where I might find an Instruction manual,
Diagram of some kind to put a Quicksilver shifter/throttle control
Back together?
I took it apart to clean and lube, it was corroded, couldn’t push the throttle warm up buttons in and it was gritty.
I can probable put it back together but it will be a lot of trial and error doing it.
An Instruction manual would really help.
