I unloaded the boat on saturday and headed out, the first time I hit the throttle I spun the hub in my prop. We finish the day out idleing around. When I get home I pull the prop and its oily on the hub.

To the question on a 83 stringer drive do you have to disassemble the entire lower unit to replace the prop shaft seal?

I haven't gotten around to it. Up to now I haven't had any drive issues but I'm thinking it might be a good investment soon
