2nd try at this post..My pair of bf130s will not pee consistenly. I always flush at the port and poke mono to unclog the tubing, but have never found the secret. Is there a way to fix this? Motors have been great.

if it stopped peeing and you cant unplug it,change your waterpump.it should be replaced every two years as maintenance.

You can remove the fitting from the engine(thr part that the piss hose attaches to) turn the engine full stbd and start it up. A large stream will come out run for about 30 sec. Put it back together and it should be ok for a couple of months before you have to do it again.

Could be pieces of salt-calcium deposits . Remove your thermostats and see how much build-up there is in that area. I've had a problem with build-up even though I flush with Salt-Away. (See other posts).

There's also some t's in the line behind the tattletale that can get clogged. the pee fitting is the worst though.

My 225 has a allen type plug where the tell-tale tube enters the engine. Not sure if yours has that or not. Take that out and clean the deposits in that area. Plug is tight, I had to use a hand impact driver to get mine loose.

I have the exact problem once in a while. I take apart all the lines working backwards from the pee hole and usually find a bunch of crystal deposits. Check the T nearest that pee hole first.

Don't know what year your motor is but the newer engines have a larger fitting on the engine. If you have an older model you can order the part from the new series (model year 2006) and replace the old fitting. It gives more flow and less clogging.

I found a piece of paper the other day on my engine,it plug up at the 90 where it the pee hose plug onto my engine. How a piece of paper got through my screen i have no idea!!

I have the same motor and it's always deposits in the line right where that T is.
