not getting spark

Lower cylinder not getting spark??? 1989 6hp 2 cycle. Was told it may be module anyone know part number? Or have an Idea??

It is NOT the "module" (switch box); you have a bad coil. You can confirm this by temporarily switching the wires on the coils to see if the problem moves to the other cylinder. (Mark the wires/ coils so you don't mix them up.) Lots of good, used coils on eBay. Just get one that's the same color.

Remove the bad coil and clean the ground connection. (bad ground = no spark)
