"i got my new replacement non vro fuel pump ( sierra 438556) today,(switching to mix) i see where it bolts up to the motor but what activates it? i'm assuming a vacuum of some sort but where does it hook to? is there a nipple i have to get for the back of the pump? (1989 110vro)

there is a vacuum line that ru

there is a vacuum line that runs the pump. it goes to the crankcase and looks the same as a fuel line.

"i think i found it, there is a plug (screw with gasket)just above the pulse limiter that has to be removed. the pump bolts directly to the block with a gasket and get its vacuum from the center hole."
