Hope this dosent double post nothing happened before.
I have 50 hp Evinrude around 1992 no tilit down either switch on throttle or outboard side cover.
Removed green wire at pump connection put 12volts on it it motored down.
Where do the wires from the throttle trim switch and outbord switch meet.
How does the trim motor work it has 2 wires does it run in both directions for up and down is one wire an earth?
Its got me buggered it works when power supplied to green pump wire but the rest of the green wiring appears ok.
Thanks for any help its just coming into fishing season here.
Thank god it didnt happen down the harbour will make a long jumper lead and put in the boat toolbox.
