No Start, No Choke

Hi all,
Trying to figure out why the motor isn't cranking (No crank, electronic choke does not engage). Checked the continuity per shop manual at key switch in remote control, checked for power at starter and solenoid, and at neutral switch, all showing appropriate voltage and continuity.

Only change from yesterday was replaced the choke solenoid (wire sheared off old module). Any ideas what would cause a no start condition?

Held the electronic choke in at they key before cranking, cranked for a few seconds then nothing.

Sorry forgot to mention that it is a 1978 Evinrude 115hp,

I will check the 20 amp fuse tomorrow when its light out. That would be closer to the battery? There are no fuses on the motor

I didn't even realize there was a fuse hiding in there! Tiny 20a hiding in a connector above the 2 prong connector for stator to power pack on the port side.

Thanks guys. Will replace and update if problem is solved

Fuse fixed the issue. Got it started and running for a little while to warm up, new fuse must have been bad because the motor wouldn't shut off at the key. Shut motor off by reducing RPMs, replaced fuse and functionality has returned again. Must have a short somewhere.

Was too hasty, didn't make sure the control was fully in neutral to activate the neutral switch. All power working fine. Good reminder to myself to slow down...
