i have a 115 merc was running

i have a 115 merc was running starter went out so i replaced it now it wont start.acts like its not getting spark
 
First have to confirm whether

First have to confirm whether or not it has good spark at all cylinders. No sense guessing...
 
i have no spark at all .and as

i have no spark at all .and as to is it spinning in the right direction i didnt know it would spin in the wrong directionbut i have to say yes it is. i tried to chek the coil with battery disconected i put a teast lead to the terminal on spark box and the other 1 to ground and i get a reading withe the ohm meter with the key in the on or off position.did i do this correctly

THE LINK YOU SENT ME DOES IT COVER LATE MODEL 115HP.WENT TO THE BOAT AGAIN AND MY DUMB A FOR GOT THE SERIAL NO. AGAIN.WONDERING BECAUSE IT TALKS ABOUT BLUE WIR EAND I DONT HAVE ANY BLUE WIRES OR TERMINALS.

to me when im asked an inline 6 i take that like a inline 6 chevy motor ok .the power head has 6 cylinders inline is that what you are asking meim sry if im not understanding the ?

"I thought it was a 1970, but he said late model then confused me even farther with that old Chevy talk. To me, late model means 1990- 2000. early model means 70s-80s, and Chevy only made one engine worth talking about and its not a 6 cyl.
I don't have the expert experience on this model but the link to the test above will work."

im sry if im confusing u guys as i dont know out boards very well at all but i can admit i dont know .so plz bare with me .here we go yes i have a inline 6 and 1970 so good to me .looks that oldto me anyway by the time all of you get done with i might have picked some of this up
