no spark on all 3 cylinders

have a 93' evenrude and can get no spark on all 3 cylinders. am told the CDI box is bad? is this the same as the power pack? cant seem to find CDI box on any diagram, local dealer says a CDI box will cost me $600? just wondering where the CDI box is an located on motor, thanks

Price from factory is around $325 and on this site $187 or so.----------It is 15 minutes to install it at the most.------I hope you can trust your dealer on this ???

there are a few simple tests that even a beginner can do. the ususall proceedure is to check everything but the box. it may very well be the box but doesnt have to be, 600.00 is way to much. we just redid timer base, box, and stator for around 500.00. on a 91 60 horse and then had to do the fuel pump runnin good now.
