No spark on #3 cylinder

What would cause you to have spark in #1 and #2 cylinder but not in #3. Could it be a bad coil?

"Easy way to troubleshoot.....

"Easy way to troubleshoot...... Temporarily disconnect the small primary wire leading form the powerpack to one of the firing coils (1 or 2), then connect it to the non firing coil (3).

If #3 now fires, the coil is okay.
