Hello everyone. I have no spark on the two top spark plugs on a 2004 Mercury 115 HP 2-stroke. I replaced the trigger and the two top coils, still nothing. I checked the stator with an ohmmeter and I'm within the limits. Then I disconnected the REV LIMIT box, thinking it might be cutting the ignition on the two top cylinders. Still nothing.
The engine starts on the two bottom cylinders. I checked the continuity of the coil wires up to the trigger.
I should point out that the engine was running perfectly and the fault happened suddenly. So I'm stuck. Any ideas? Thanks.
