no spark 502 Merc Generation 5 fuel injected

Good start,
How about telling us the year of the motor/boat, stock or not?

Any and all info will help more than just what you have done.
What troubleshooting have you done that determined the parts you replaced needed to be replaced?
 
1995 502 415hp. Merc Gen. 5....460 hours. K+N air filter with spacer , plentum lowered, lightning headers 5 inch exhaust. It is getting power to the coil. The boat beeps when you turn on the key. I replace the 90 amp fuse behind the starter last year . The engine died in gear at idle, then restarted. The next time out, boat ran normal. Stopped for a couple of hours, boat started, ran 3500 rpm for about a mile and died. No spark. I first changed the ECM in the distributor. Boat started. I tried to start it a couple of days later to time it...nothing. I changed the pickup coil, had to pull the distributor. It looked destroyed....figured that was it and nothing. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor are new.
