No Primer Bulb on Honda 150 HP

Is a Primer Bulb necessary on a 2010 Honda 150 V Tech engine ?. Presently, there is not one on my engine but appears there might have been one because line is spliced with nipple and clamps on the line leaving the remote water separator.

As long as the fuel system remains primed it will be fine. If the fuel system looses prime the LP fuel pump may have a very difficult time or may not be able to reprime the system at all. Fuel system will loose prime when replacing filters or the fuel system or could loose prime if engine is not used for an extended time.

If it were my boat I would install a primer bulb.

Since when you store the boat you should drain the vapor separator, you need the primer bulb to refill the vapor separator so the engine will start and run. So definitely put a primer bulb in the line.
