No power to starter, early 15 hp Tohatsu 4 stroke

When I hooked up the battery I got the cables reversed and apparently blew a fuse because now I get no power to the starter using the ignition button. I can jump the solenoid and get it running. So, I assume it is a fuse issue and hopefully not a solenoid. Where can I find the fuse in the ignition/starter system?

Assuming your model is MFS15B2.

Item 12 is the 20-amp fuse. It rides in the fuse wire, item 13. See the back few pages of your owners manual at http://tohatsu.com/tech_info/manuals.html for the wiring diagrams.

Thanks. I found it and the fuse was blown. Replaced it and all's well.
