"after dry starting motor (I know..I know...it was 5 to 8 sec's max!) before launching boat for ist time this season, I went to raise the TnT on my 90 hp Johnson ('88) and suddenly had no power to trim or ignition. Does the dry start have anything to do with the symptom of no power or where do I start?"

"You need to read up on dry start!!! that is too long for the water pump to turn with no lubrication , far too long. You need to invest in a new impeller or you will do damage to the motor due to overheat.Check the 20 amp fuse on the motor for the electric problem."
 
I have just had a similar prob

I have just had a similar problem with loss of pwr to trim and ignition in my 60hp 88 Johnson. If there is a fuse on the motor I haven't been able to find it. Any help locating?
