no power on volvo penta 4.3

i put two new module in today. and set the timing on 5deg after and at 2500rpm it should adv to 15deg before 4600 its should adv to 18deg before this is what the book shows. its a volvo penta 4.3 gs. it does not do that. i do not know what to do now

use basic settings to get engine running, when tuning and basic set up set 0 deg at TDC and make sure your 1 cylinder is at TDC and the exhaust and inlet valves are both shut/closed, also make sure your firing order on you distributor to plugs is correct, also check your advance flyweights inside the distributor assy,check you plugs and leads are all good, if need be undo one and with the lead connected place the plug on the body of the block and turn the engine other to see if you have a good spark.

Its sounds to me like your are either to far advanced or to far the other way.
