No power for my Tilt?

Hello everyone, I am new to this site , thought id post this issue that's baffling me.

I have a 2002 Merc Alpha one 3.0L I have never had an issue with my trim, never a warning sign or any strange noises. I winterized the boat in the fall, store it in the garage with the drive down so i don't leave any strain on the bellows. So i went to connect the battery today (as I normally do) and when i went to trim up, nothing happens, as if it was dead, seems like no power. (everything else works, blower lights, horn) My trim switch on the throttle has a down, and 2 up's. I checked the 20 amp fuse thats close to the battery connection, and the 110 amp fuse at the switch box, they are all fine.

Just confused how the last thing i did in the fall after winterizing was lowering the unit, then disconnected the battery, then now re-connect the battery, and not working?

You forgot to connect the neg power cable to the battery that goes to the unit. positive is sometimes connected to the main lug on the starter
or goes directly to the battery

Basically I have 4 wires that have always connected to my battery, the main black to the negative terminal, main red to the positive and another red (from the starter) then I have a small brown wire that has the 20 amp fuse in it. I believe it is for the tilt, is that one positive or negative to the battery?

and the #6 black wire that went to the trim pump bracket
Its tough for me to follow it back to the to the pump bracket , but yes thats the one that is located at my battery with the 20 amp fuse in it, should that be connected to my positive or negative terminal on the battery, I cant remember

Blacks to negative, always. No, the main red power lead is either at the battery or connected at the stasrter, the neg lead has always been to neg battery.trim pumps usually have a 90 or 110 A fusable link . The main neg lead is bolted to the mounting bracket and has the motor neg and the solenoid neg joined there. power to operatye the solenoids comes off the brass buss thru a 20a fuse in a rubber bullet holder

Sorry, stupid me, there was another Black negative wire, while i was changing my spark plugs i must have knocked it out of the way, I found it but tugging on all sorts of wires and sure enough, it popped out. Your first post was correct, that was just a Newb mistake on my part.
Thanks.
