I have a 2000 115 Johnson Ocea

I have a 2000 115 Johnson Ocean Runner and just recently the "NO OIL" Alarm is sounding. The resivior is full of oil. Where should I begin?

"first--estimate the remaining

"first--estimate the remaining fuel in tank, and add enough oil,to make the 50/1 mix--1 pint to 6 gal oil...
remove inlet hose from VRO,.w/a container to catch fuel,..purge plain fuel out, until your mixed gas shows up,(always 'chase' the oil u poured in w a gallon or so of gas,to ensure, that the oil ends up in the tank, not the fuel fill hose.)ck oil line for kinks, pinched hose etc etc,..rarely the case.remove oil line assm from oil tank,to inspect ,and ck oil filter screen..
Now-----is where u need a FACTORY service manual. What has to happen now,is an oil pump usage evaluation.it is a consumption test,to determine condition of oil pump side in vro.
Dont gamble and hope it goes away,...trust the horn,,until u prove it faulty, and determine your no-oil condition.Your complete powerhead, depends on the vro/oms pump...if you are unsure ,unable to perform the correct procedures,...find a good boat shop."
