No fire

I have 1984 inline 6 90. Rebuilt all 3 carbs was running great. Battery charger cables got crossed up causing spark. Now I have no fire on spark plugs. Have changed both power packs still no fire. Could this short have messed up the stator????
Need help diagnosing
