Greetings, new guy here. I am considering buying a NS40D (unsure of year, it is blue body color, says 3C8-1). However, the rating on my Achilles calls for a 30hp. I'm wondering if this motor will be too heavy. Could anyone tell me the weight difference between a 30hp and this 40 (I checked the web, no cigar)? I'm afraid that with the additional cylinder it is going to be too much...
BTW, this boat is 11', the same boat a foot longer has a rating for 40hp.
