New Waterpump won't pump

F115 Yamaha just installed it my self and it worked on the first three trials, but now won't pump water.Have taken it back down to check woodruff key and all components and all is OK. Whats a Brother to do?

Is the motor getting hot ?-----------Or is it that the indicator hose does not show water coming out ??

And did you purchase Yamaha parts or aftermarket?

All yamaha parts and no it isn't running hot but I have it on the trailer with the dogears.That may be my problem.

Yamahas do not like to pump water on muffs.

Chris,The problem was the muffs,but I had used muffs many times in past.

Did you purchase the rectangular muffs thinking they were better? The cheap round ones are the only ones that will "possibly" work the best on a Yamaha.
If you flush on the hose with the muffs, you have to raise the rpms slightly and I mean slightly.
