new user here with a question

Hi all my name is ethan, and i just purchased a 16' sea nymph for 1000$. its a great boat but the only issue i have is that there is no power trim. its a 60hp evinrude 1982 model. i have a few places to look for a used one but my main question is do i have to switch the throttle controls? or can i get a toggle switch or something like that? all anwsers are appreciated, thanks.

a single pole double throw switch will work...middle position neutral with neither side connected....switch up and top side connected..switch down and lower side connected.. wire in parallel with the switch on the motor...
