Hi All,
I just bought a "Classic Fifty" Merc from the Late 80s. Compression is good on 3 cylinders, can't get to the bottom cylinder to check it. I hooked it up to a battery and fuel and it just cranks. No spark.
It has not been ran in several years. What order would you go about knocking out things that need done to see where the No Spark is coming from?
I'm going to pick up spark plugs soon.
Also -- I have all the controls, but I'm not sure how to tell if the Choke is hooked up from the controls to the motor.
Then?
Thanks!
