"Hey all I'll try to keep this short. Just got a Fiberform with a 90 and 9.9 Mercury's on the back. The 90 serial number is OD153354 the 9.9 is OB339368, what year are these? I can get 5000 RPM at WOT on the 90, is this OK or should it be higher? Where can I get agood manual that tells me how to service them? I currently have a 32 Bay with diesels and a 4 stroke on my dink. But I grew up riding 2 stroke dirt bikes so I know about reeds and that stuff."

"Chris, the 90 horse is a 1992 model and the 9.9 is a 1988.

The 5000 rpms on the 90 horse is right on the line, but it has a narrow 5000-5500 WOT range, so it sounds fine.

Factory service manuals are really the way to go. Cost a little more but the detail is priceless when you need it. However, for routine maintenance a Selocs manual will do sufficently..."
