Hi everybody,
I just bought a nice Wizard Marlin. I'm an OMC guy so by the color I suppose what is on the transom is not OMC... Can you tell me what it is? I only have small motors and never had big parts like this... plus the fact there is a kind of tube I don't know what it is...

Another question is about the kind of (can I say motor or pump???) that is in the splash well and it has flexible tubes... Never had something like it! Any idea???

Thank you. I thought Mercury too beecause it is black... But I dont,t know nothing about hydraulic steering or trim tilt ...

IDK possibly a merc with hydraulic steering and trim and tilt?

Hello,
I have checked the transom, and I know I will have to repair it... I don't worry, I have redone many of them... And I will use only a small motor... 18, maybe 25 hp... Gas is too expensive to me to run a 50 hp or more... It's a long time project, I don't have a lot of time this summer, I have to do some works on my 1959 MFG Oxford...

Now, about the black bracket, I was just wondering what it was from, because I plan to sell the transom bracket, and know almost nothing about Mercs...

Not alot you need to know without a motor on the clamp bracket. It looks like that transom needs some work anyway have you tested it for dry rot drill some shallow holes inside and use an ice pick plus a block of wood and a sledge hammer. Now would be the time to prep for another power plant whatever you decide make sure it`s nice and solid.
