New to boating 2001 180

I have a 2001 Monterey 180 Edge w/ an I/O Merc 3.0- I just purchased the boat and they said it had been winterized. Is there anything that I need to do before getting underway?

Check the engine oil, check the drive oil. Check the battery is charged. Make sure the drain plugs are in.

It on a trailer ? If yes run it with the drive down with water going to the drive. Check for leaks under the motor and the plugs.

Never ever start the motor without water going to the drive.

Check the bilge pump.

Make sure the bilge plug is in before putting the boat in the water.

It is on a trailer. Could you also explain to me what the fresh water drain tubes are and thier use? Thanks for the advise!
 
Should have 2 handels on a bracket, "engine" and "manifold" . They are supposed to drain the water from the block and manifold for the winterization process.
