Hi. I just completed break in of my new 115 ProXS and have a question. When I trimmed up the engine I notice it stopped and actually lowered itself. If I read the manual correctly this happens to protect from over reving and over heating. However, I like the idea of looking myself to see where the water intake is in relation to the water surface. I also like to check that the pee hole is squirting. I believe I can raise the engine another 1-2 inches before it over revs or over heats and wish I could control trim height myself. What do you guys think?
Also, if the engine ever got stuck in the full tilt position, is there a way to manually lower it? I believe at one time you'd simply loosen the screw cap on the hydraulic pump to lower the engine. Is that still the case?
Thanks
