New motor-No sound-need help

I have a 5.7 350 mag mpi and it was frozen and starter was bad. Fixed all the issues and replaced the motor. This is in a 2008 23 sea ray select raw water setup.

Anyway I didn’t realize I still had the battery connected till almost done and now when I have it all back together nothing happens. Just a loud constant beep with a system error across the screen. All wires seem to be in the correct place. New starter doesn’t make a sound. Radio works but trim also doesn’t work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No it says 11v so it’s low but the starter should be engaging.

Could I have messed up the ecm with power connected?

Charge or replace the battery first. Low voltage can create all sorts of oddities.

After having been fully charged, and after having been at rest for about 6 to 8 hours (no loads) ........ a good wet cell Marine battery should read a minimum of 12.4 volts.
A battery that reads only 11 volts is likely dead.

So I put a charger on the battery and got the volts back up above 12. all is still the same. Everything works except the Motor of course and also the TRIM.... Is there a specific fuse that would control that? Also I looked at all the fuses on both sides the motor and on top, above battery cut off, and under the wheel all look good.

Locate the slave solenoid and jump the 2 large posts, starter should spin the motor.

It was the physical wire/ fuse on the wire coming from the starter itself. Replaced it and all is working. Thanks everyone!
