New Merc engine to OMC drive

88 bayliner trophy OMC 3.0l, got a brand new 2005 complete merc 3.0 motor and have the orig. OMC king cobra which was recently rebuilt and in good shape..the crank shaft bolt pattern on the 05 merc motor is different then the OMC coupler..can anyone help..is there a conversion piece? This is also posted on the merc board.

yeah, you just need to buy an OMC Cobra coupler for a 1991 or later 3.0

losing the King part will make the shopping easier, your drive is not a King Cobra.
