New Honda 4 Stroke Engine Smoke

" When I first crank the motor.. lots of smoke is blowing out as tho it is a 4-stroke. Mechanic says the trailering position causes this.. it lasts a few seconds & is gone rest of day..
However -- even when engine has not been tilted, I am still getting small puff of smoke when start engine. Cannot find anything about this in booklet.

Meant to say.. even tho IT IS A 4-STROKE...
on that first posting. KNow the 4-strokes should NOT be showing much oil smoke.
