Hello I am new to both Mariners and boating.I have inherited A smaller old Hurston Glascraft that has a 1987 3 cylinder 2 carb 60hp Mariner (serial #0B157786).
The engine runs like a top when not under load (with muffs on), but falls on its face under load (in the water). I thought it might be a carb issue , Balance or dirty. What I have found is a little bit different. The electrical leads from the stator to the rectifier are frayed causing a grounding issue.
So the question is, is there anyone or anyplace I might be able to find electrical schematic for this engine.
