New engine breakin advise?

In a few days I fly down to Seattle to pick up my new (to me) 40-foot boat. Over the winter I had two factory new Crusader 5.7 injected engines installed as well as having the V drives rebuilt, new shaft seals, shafts trued, props tuned, etc., etc. How and what should I do to properly break in these engines before heading north back up to Alaska?

Maybe you should check with the rebuilder to determine whether or not the cams were broken in properly...you know, that 3000 rpm for 30 minutes thing?

Seems like there is a considerable amount of money spent, might as well be sure it has long term survivability

Read the owner's manual (available online, if you don't have one) for the details of the break-in actions necessary. You will need to take these into consideration when planning your trip north...don't forget the extra oil, etc, and to check it frequently during the trip.
