Bit of a newbie question, but I've got a new carb to fit to my BF8D.
Should the idle and pilot screws be pre-set to approximately the right number of turns on the new carb straight from factory?
Wondering if I should expect to just have to do very minor adjustments to allow for age of my engine, or will need to properly calibrate them from scratch?
Not got a lot of experience - so haven't quite the 'the ear' for getting mixture right yet.
