I'm considering buying a new tracker boat with a 90 hp optimax. I don't know much about these engines and wanted some input on them. Thanks

They are good engine

They are good engines, but the engine of choice today is the E-Tech. We have worked on a few and are impressed.

We installed a new 75hp recently, and set it up for running on XD-100 oil. There was practically no smoke in the exhaust at all.
