Hello,
I have a brand new 75 Merc on my fishing boat. 2009 legend 16.6. Upgraded from a 2006 60 Merc. When we have 4 or 5 people in the boat it gets up on plane much better now. But now it seems harder to control. Carving left or right it seems to have a hard time just going strait. ( I've played with adjustments, trim up and down and adjusted the trim tab above the prop). We are very aware that you need to shuffle people around to find the sweet spot. But it just feels different.
Maybe some manual trim tabs would help? Or stabilizer fins attached to the leg of the motor? We did have the fins on the 60 hp motor
