negative wires from battery

I have a 2007 four winns with a 350mpi merc can anyone tell me where the secondary ground wire from the battery goes to- the main grounds to the block but during re & re of engine the secondary ground has ben misplaced can anyone help?

never heard of a second ground from the battery. there is a continuity wire from the transom housing to the engine flywheel housing.

Ayuh,..... My guess is that yer extra ground wire, goes to the trim pump,....
