need starter for 1986 40hp johnson

I am looking for a used starter for my 1986 40 hp. Does anybody have one laying around that would like to get rid of it? im in va and will of course pay for all shipping cost.

If you just need a replacement take yours to Brownings on Independence Blvd and have it rebuilt.

yeah my magnets were shattered inside but thanks. i ended up using the wonderful craigslist. thanks.

I would just see if it can be rebuilt and a new one (from a foreign manufacturer ) is really not too much money.
