"The engine hits its horsepower rating at 5000 rpm. Full throttle rpm is considered anything between 4500 rpm and 5500 rpm, not to exceed 5500 rpm. Sorry to say, props are not my line of expertise. Hopefully some other tech will supply that info. However, the prop must be matched to the boat and load so as to get close to, but not to exceed the 5500 rpm limit.

If you go to the michigan wheel website, they have a prop-calculator; you give it the size of boat and engine, and it will spit out what the recommended props are.
