I'm hoping you old salts can help me figure this out. I have a 2025 F115 (just bought it last year) with only 3.6 hours on it. It seemed to run fine around 3300 RPMs (all of these tests were done at the lake in the water) but as I advance the throttle a bit to around 4400 it will go for a while and then lose power, I can bring the throttle back to neutral/idle position and then advance the throttle and we are off again. It was all really random. I'm running the command link with a Multi gauge.
So, since I wasn't sure if the gas was bad in the tank I drained all of the fuel, installed a new fuel/water separator, and changed the small filter on the engine and put new gas in the tank. Still no joy. Then I changed the pickup tube for the tank, all of the gas barbed fittings and all of the fuel lines (3/8" ID USCG approved) and the primer bulb. STILL no joy. I don't want to think that the Vapor Separator Tank or associated components are bad so soon so I haven't torn into it yet. Anti Siphon valve is new also. I checked the venting tube for the tank, it's clear and vents fine. Problem still happens even with the gas cap off. I don't get any alarms. Temperature gauge seems to read fine. 14.4 vdc for power. When I loose power if I leave the throttle where it is the RPMs will drop down and stay down. HELLLLP
