Need RPM rating for motor

" Running the 1970 Evinrude 60HP Triumph.
Its running nicely, about 1 hour at full throttle on a 6-gal fuel tank.
Seems like we should get more speed or RPM out of her though. What RPM's is the motor rated at?

"Roger.... That engine hits its horsepower rating at 5000rpm. The full throttle operating range is 4500rpm to 5500rpm, with the top rated rpm being of course 5500rpm. The fuel consumption you mention is about right.
