Need Power Steering Mounting

I just got hold of a recent Crusader 8.1 HO. It fits in the boat (Carolina Classic 25) except that I need a power steering pump for the Merc power steering. Any ideas on how to mount one?

I don't know if one of the 7.4l brackets would fit or not. I have a 25 Carolina Classic that I purt a 8.1 Crusader in. Unfortunately Crusader doesn't support the PS pump feature. You would have to relocate the fuel cell for one thing. I looked into it and decided to forget it. The steering is a little stiffer thyan it would be with the PS pump for the boost cylinder but not unreasonable. You can spend about $1500 and buy the Teleflex power steering booster to help out.

search the Crusader board for <power steering> You'll find a post or two that will reiterate "No Cheap Solution" and give some more details. I remember a couple other options being suggested to cover some of the factory steering options.
